2025 Street & Utility Project

Linn Drive SW/Oakdale Street SW

The 2025 Street & Utility Project was awarded to Wencl Construction. Planned work is weather dependent and dates are subject to change. Any access restrictions will be communicated by the contractor.

Weekly Recap: The contractor has finished all sanitary, watermain, water service, and sanitary service on the project at Linn and Oakdale.

Upcoming Plans: Starting on 6/30, the crews will work on removing material from the intersection of 2^nd and Oakdale heading West. If weather permits, they will begin to place new material for the roadway. The crews will then move to the South loop of Linn Dr SW and finish up on the storm sewer.

2025 18th Street SE Trail Extension

Ulland Brothers began construction on a Pedestrian and Bicycle Trail running along the South side of 18th Street SW and the North side of 18th Street SE on June 2nd. 

Weekly Recap: The contractor is continuing to work on removals for the trail Northeast of Cedar Ave. These sidewalks will remain closed until the trail is fully installed. 

Upcoming Plans: Beginning the week of 6/30 the crews plan to move forward with replacing curb and driveway aprons from Linn Dr. SW to Cedar Ave. Weather permitting.
