- Group reservations are available June 5th through August 23rd
- Group reservations can be scheduled for a minimum of 2 hours with each reservation including 10 vessels.
- If the facility closes due to weather, a date change can be made or the reservation can be canceled at no cost.

Lake Kohlmier Boat Rentals are available for large group reservations. Lake Kohlmier will be stocked with Adult, Child and Infant sized lifejackets which are included and required with each aquatic rental. The beach is open daily and ropes are placed to indicate swim areas. There are no lifeguards on duty - individuals will swim according to beach rules and at their own risk.
Large Group Rentals Rules and Regulations
Waivers
A waiver is required to be signed prior to using the equipment. If a waiver is not signed the equipment will not be rented out. No additional riders are allowed to use the rental equipment without having a signed waiver.
Age Requirements
Riders must be at least 18 years of age to use the rental equipment. Any rider under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian (must be signed on site). Riders ages 13 & 14 may use rental equipment without an adult with them; however, an adult must be on a separate rental item within 30 feet of riders. Riders under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult using the same equipment.
Safety Equipment
Riders must wear all safety equipment associated with the rental equipment at all times and have the safety equipment fastened appropriately. Safety equipment includes life jacket, helmet and safety vest.
Weather/Closure
Wind Speeds
Lake Kohlmier Equipment rentals will not be open if there are sustained winds of 20mph or higher or when there are wind gusts of 35mph or higher.
Feels Like Temp
Lake Kohlmier Equipment rentals will not be open if the “feels like” temperature is below 60 degrees.
Lightening
No rentals will be permitted until there is 30 minutes of no lightning spotted.
